Does it cost me money?

No, it's totally free!

Does it matter if my username or password are upper or lower case?

No, upper and lower case usernames and passwords are identical.  "dog", "Dog" and "DOG" are the same.

Why do I need an account to post to a bulletin board?

The account registration policy ensures that every user has entered a valid email address.  Bulletin Board Systems are much more useful if you can tell who is posting messages.

What kind of posts are acceptable?

Anything that relates to the bulletin board topic.  Team bulletin boards can be used for car pooling info, practice info, general discussions, compliments to players or team, schedule changes, directions to tournaments, hotel info...

What kind of posts are unacceptable?

Bad Language, insults, comments detrimental to the team or players, items not in the best interest of NVHC.  Do not make any negative comments about other teams, clubs or officials. 

What will happen if I post unacceptable messages?

Any account that abuses the system will be disabled.  System abuses may also be reported to the board of directors or other authorities for further disciplinary action.

Can I post HTML?

Yes, but please be careful.  I recommend using <pre>.....</pre> around any text aligned in columns (like a schedule).  Make sure your posts include the same number of opening and closing tags.  The current version does not syntax check html tags.

Is there any way I can delete or edit a posting?

You can delete a posting by selecting 'delete message(s) I posted', signing in with your username and password, and then selecting the messages you want to delete.  Currently, The only way to edit a posting is to delete it and add it back.
