About the Hockey Simulator
This program shows basic zone positions for 5 on 5 hockey.
Try dragging the puck slowly behind the net, then try dragging quickly. Notice how the forwards react.
This program was written in Java (J++ 6.0) by David Hyde
Known bugs: Like all zone defenses, there are some problems if the puck moves back & forth between zones. There are also some neutral zone bunching up problems, and some indecision problems if the puck is exactly on the line dividing the ice lengthwise. All pucks are assumed to be neutral (no concept of possession).
