Welcome to the Northern Virginia Hockey Club

The Northern Virginia Ice Dogs provide a quality hockey program for boys and girls ages 4-18. We skate at the Mt Vernon Recreation Center, Fort Dupont Ice Arena, and Tucker Rd Ice Rink. We provide Initiation (Learn-to-Play) sessions, Atom and Mites Cross Ice and House and Travel teams. Our House Teams play in the Capital Corridor Hockey League, and our Travel Teams play in the Capital Beltway Hockey League. Our hockey club is committed to providing an opportunity to learn and play the game of ice hockey in an environment of equal participation and competitiveness while promoting good sportsmanship and team play.
